yep kind of me doing an art blog

Well it has been a while
I graduated earlier this month and I'm looking for a job in fact I have an interview tomorrow.
I have been drawing a lot recently and Stuff will be posted soon

Super Art Fight is an awesome live art competition
and they are having their try out show on May 21st in Baltimore at the metro gallery from 2pm-7pm
I am one of 16 participants who were chosen to compete for a spot on their full time roster
wish me luck cause I WILL NEED IT

Moving Away Yet Pushing Forward
I have a unique art style and most of my art is abstract.
Over the past year or so I have combined my unique style with more animalistic elements.
This combination takes my art to a whole new level a level which I can't see myself leaving.
So I have decided to leave to completely abstract behind no more swirls of geometric shapes.
I have become a better artist and will keep pushing my skills.
So more tribal/mechanical looking animals/demons/faces/robots and hybrids of those are coming
As for the abstract drawings……let's just say I have a lot of tattoo ideas lol

I have been very busy as of late.
I have started printing my art on to t-shirts.
it is a somewhat complicated process but i am getting the hang of it.
I stated school up again and will probably be graduating in the spring.
Some new drawings will be up when I have time

I just ordered some screen printing supplies.
So I'm going to be be creating some [InsideOutOfMyMind] T-shirts very soon
I believe I will I will be selling them online in February.
If any of you have any suggestions or ideas for just let me know

I have been very busy and currently don't have photoshop to edit photos of my art but i have between 6 and 8  new things that will be up asap

Okay I have a bunch of art related things happening soon.
The first thing is I'm getting A new laptop......which is a tablet pc.
It is an HP Touch Smart and will work great with photo shop so expect more digital art soon.

My Super Hero project has already started.
I have finished one and will be posting soon(when ever I get my new PC)

I also have joined an art studio that my friend Lee has started.
I'm not exactly sure what we are all going to be do but I know a lot of the artists and the art created by them is fantastic.

One last thing today my Aunt who loves music and has her Doctorate in it is thinking about writing an children's song book.Today she asked me if I would be interested in illustrating it this is really exciting I know my main style of art will not fit but some of my digital work like these would be the perfect style for it.

My Next Art Series
I am taking a bit of a break from drawing for a bit
When I get back into it which should be in a week or 2
The plan is to do a tribute to DC comics
I am going to draw the logos of some of the Heroes and Villains and create abstract designs around them.I will be stepping into the world of color for this I can't wait to get started on it but I'm giving myself a break first.
.........I need to buy some color markers

I <3 BRUSH MARKERS!........that is all

Okay!
So I had the random Idea to just stay up all night tonight.
Rather than just watch movies or something I am going to spend 24 hours working on art.
I have started a painting that I plan on finishing.
I'm going to do some work in Illustrator and work on some drawing.
Who knows what will happen in this 24 hour period
I may lose my mind! I may find my mind!
Two things I know that I will need are music and coffee....LOTS OF COFFEE!
Sometimes you have to test your limits and tonight this will happen.
Don't get me wrong I <3 Sleeping but I <3 Art even more
I have a lot of creative energy right now and this is going to happen

My brother Mike is watching Football and all the noise of the game is getting on my nerves.
Also my other brother john is ranting about Hockey. As for me I don't like any sports I never have and never will. Ha now I have a headache but yeah I have some new art up

So last semester during my digital printmaking class I was printing some of my pieces for my final review. I had to rush from work to school so I could print...but there was a problem I could not print from the normal printer due to a class being in the room.

So my teacher and I had to go to the older printer and use it.Only problem the settings on the printer were way off and I mean WAY OFF. so I start printing and 4ft of sheet canvas just shoots out and the it stats to print. Halfway through the print it stops and shoots another 4ft of canvas out and then cuts the roll.Try to print again same thing happens......and again every thing prints this time but there is still 8 feet of extra canvas. So I asked my teacher what to do with all the extra canvas and he say keep it.
KEEP IT! so for the last 3 or 4 months I have had 20+ feet of sheet canvas

yes 20+ FEET OF SHEET CANVAS...and I got it for FREE
so I want to start a huge project with other artists and some random friends to create some fun art cause this stuff has just been sitting on my room for 3 months screaming to have creativity thrown on it

I had A LOT of art uploaded this week
It was pretty much 4+years of art.
I have not been using this page for about 3 years and that makes me sad .

Over the last few weeks I have been a creative storm.
The way I have been thinking has changed.
I am not going to be able to go to school this fall to to a lack of funds.
So I have just been drawing and creating other things and I'm loving it.
I had so much art planned for the summer and I did not even get close to finishing what I wanted to get done.

So with all that said I'm "Diving back in"
I will be Living,Breathing,and Eating ART

So I need inspiration....some more fuel for this fire
